My name is Michaela and I'm a writer and editor: a collector of information, listener of stories and wrangler of words.

I’ve written about everything from flower shops to Polaroids to gourd art (yeah, that's a real thing). Some of the people I've had the privilege of interviewing include elderberry farmers and actors.

Insatiable curiosity and the belief that words change the world both drive my work. I also believe my abilities and opportunities are gifts from God. When I look back, I see His hand on every step of my career. I hope that all of my work brings Him glory, whether I'm writing explicitly about faith or not.
